SATlings 2011

Another year has come and gone. The SATlings have completed their exams and now eagerly await their school reports. They have worked very hard this year and each group was spoilt with an outing to celebrate the end of another successful year on the SATlings project.

We would also like to officially welcome our new CSI partners for 2012. A warm welcome to Comztek (now a partner in more than one way), Saige Marketing and Genasys Technologies, we are confident that you will find this a rewarding partnership. We look forward to a long relationship with you, forged by our common goal; to uplift our struggling communities.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our current partners Giorgio Gori Global Transport & Logistics, MHI Attorneys, Aztec South Africa (and our silent partner) who have stood by us this year, making it possible for us to continue with the development of our second group of SATlings (G2).  Thank you for sharing our passion and vision.

The success of the SATlings project would not have been possible without the following people who directly influence the SATlings projects’ success:

  • The staff and management at Cloetesville High school
  • Hermann Rocher (Academic Manager & Language tutor)
  • Hester Jacobs (Maths tutor)
  • Angelique Victor (Emotional development programme with Equal Zeal)

We look forward to the developments and challenges that 2012 has in store for us, but for now we agree that it is time for some well-deserved rest.
